 We moved to the village of Wickwar in South Gloucestershire in 2003 into what used to be the village primary school. What was once the school playground quickly became our kitchen garden and in 2006 growing our own fruit and vegetables expanded to an allotment in the village. We now happily grow almost everything to meet our needs.
My love of growing vegetables and herbs inspired me to leave corporate life and start Wickwar Cooks Garden in 2007. I have an HNC in Organic Horticulture from Pershore College in Worcestershire and my husband Ian, who supports me in the business, has the RHS Advanced Certificate in Horticulture.
